Alright. So I fantasized that my fever last week was burning out the cancer. I imagined it like toasting marshmallows, with that bad part of my lung just crisping away to ash.
WELL, ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, have I got some news for you. I had a scan this morning and it shows fucking reduction! Never, ever, did I expect to see this kind of positive response at this particular juncture. As I read it (the first time!) I even thought for a moment that perhaps it was a mistake–someone else’s radiology report. But no, that’s my cancer they are describing and it is GETTING SMALLER!

Hugs all around!

Congratulations!! That’s great news

That is a fabulous reduction, and especially if you can think of the lesions being ‘flattish’ pancake type tumors 10mm or 1 cm , with the ROUGH measures of the 35mm x 52mm = 3.5 cm x 5.2 cm = 17.85 ‘cubic’ centimeter.
Now they have shrunk to 22mm x 15mm or 2.2cm x 1.5cm, but with that still flat 10mm or 1cm thickness, that is now 3.3 cm ‘cubic’. Thinking of the volume of shrinkage is really impressive.
Following you as I also had lung mets, but from kidney cancer–16 years ago!
Big hugs!
Wow!!! I am so very happy for you Linnea! And…I also know that Visualization works!!✊🏽❤️
HOORAY!
HAPPY DANCE 💃💃

So happy for you, Linnea.
Linnea, FANTASTIC news!! I got goose bumps reading this. Yay!!!
So amazing Linnea! I am somewhat late to the game. I admit there has been so much horrific news in the world lately, I’ve been ignoring my personal emails altogether. So here it is the 11th and I am at the office crying, having just read your last couple of posts, because I am so happy for you and for the larger impact that this could have for so many other lung cancer patients, husbands and wives, their children, and all the others that love them.
You are truly a hero! Congratulations to you and Dr. Lin & Dr. Shaw of course!!! You made my day, my week, and my heart – full of love and respect for your fortitude, horrific suffering and your drive to live to the fullest!
