Everything. A postcard I received yesterday. Me, with my dear friend Wendy. What do I love? Well, Wendy, first of all. Then maybe the fact that I was in California, visiting Wendy and her partner Cristina, who took the photo. Yes, two of my closest friends and something I once took for granted—the ability to travel.
In this moment Wendy and I are hugging. I am kissing her. No masks. Plus, I have hair. A wealth of hair. And optimism. I was healthier then. Still cruising on lorlatinib; possibly even imagining that I had been cured.
Lots to love here. Much to hope that we can revisit.
